CAN PEI is located at only 10km from Castellfollit de la Roca, 1km on the outskirts of Oix and 18km from Beget.

Surrounded by forests and valleys, it is ideal for families to go bike riding, to go swimming in the rivers of nearby mountains or simply to rest and relax enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the house. Its proximity to the Natural Park of the volcanic area of La Garrotxa allows visits to beautiful towns such as Olot, La Fageda de’n Jorda, Santa Pau, Besalu, Beget, the famous lake of Banyoles or even the Costa Brava at only 1 hour by car.

On the other side, for those lovers of nature and bush-walking, right next to the house you can find two main bush-walking paths: GR-11 and GR-1.

The house is surrounded by many walking trails from which one can discover the vast amount of Romanic churches which make this landscape a very special area, not to forget the many characteristic stone walls to practise rock climbing.

For the more adventurous, the house offers guided horse-riding excursions through the natural beauty of the area, and for the little ones there is horse riding in an enclosed area under the supervision and guidance of our stable hands.

In the late afternoon we also encourage families to participate in feeding the animals, usually a very special experience for children.
